Our next menu is ready to go. And this weekend happens to be my Birthday too – so my husband is going to prepare me one of my meals for a change! We are having my favourite – hake with a rich creamy sauce and samphire followed by chocolate and hazelnut cake!

Fabulous meal @waltoncastle castle for private guests last night. Such a pleasure to cook in such a stunning location for such lovely people! Guests enjoyed a selection of canapés and freshly shucked oysters followed by - beef or beetroot carpaccio with heritage beets and Parmesan crisp / prawn ravioli, fennel purée and basil oil / coquilles sant jac / sirloin, artichoke purée, artichoke crisps and wild shrooms / dauphinoise potatoes / lemon cake, lemon posset cream and English forced rhubarb / chocolate espresso cake, salted caramel cream & choc meringues. A flat out Christmas season followed by a total break with family and friends from the kitchen (commercial not home obvs!) and Insta has kept me from posting many events - so this is the first of a few: a treat to be back at Anthony Gormley Studio for a reception for Camden Town Unlimited. Kindly allowed to post some studio long shots as well as some food (my fave for the Christmas run was fish cakes with caviar aioli!). Also bread ends in the staff kitchen (leftovers from a new Gormely bread sculpture currently under construction). Shamefully long since my last post but we have been super busy with Christmas events including this lovely 3 course dinner at HMS Flying Fox in Bristol at the weekend. A selection of canapés followed by salmon mousse, beetroot and gin gravlax, picked vegetables / salt marsh lamb / chocolate espresso mousse cake. #hmsflyingfox #dinner #rosekentishkitchen #finedining

An absolute pleasure to cook for @greenpeaceuk at @thephotographersgallery this week. A Chris Killip, retrospective showing in the gallery. Guests enjoyed sparkling Provence rose St André de Figuière and crisp white wine alongside a selection of vegan and vegetarian canapés.

We love cooking for @no20arts. Always such a pleasure and such exciting events to be cooking for. This time for the private view of artist @jim_threapleton_studio who's work is on exhibition there until the end of the year.
