Here is our new menu for this week 15th May.
We have had fun devising this weeks menu, so please see attached.
Star of the show is freshly smoked trout from meretrout– Our order is apparently being smoked as I type! served with beautiful British Beetroot and our homemade sourdough crisp and a horseradish cream.
To follow we have a classic French dish – Confit duck leg with a provencal bean cassoulet. Such a tasty dish – cured in lemon thyme salt for 24 hours then slow cooked in duck fat – this is a rich and opulent dish. With a light green herb oil to freshen up the plate, crispy rocket and our homemade focaccia to soak up the juices. For the vegetarian offering we have a tian of celeriac, truffled leek and braised chicory with parsley pesto.
For dessert – Paris Brest – Choux pastry filled with praline cream served with fresh berries. Classic. Nom nom.
